Aloft by Marriott Madrid Gran Via

The front desk managers were a big help throughout our stay, and the guard at the entrance was on duty around the clock. I felt safe knowing non-guests would be questioned before entering. He even gave tourists a heads-up about holding their cameras and belongings carefully to avoid pickpockets. The location is close to shops, restaurants, Puerta del Sol, and the metro. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had two twin beds, and unlike many hotels that push them together, these were nicely kept apart.

I spent four nights at Aloft Madrid in September 2025. The central spot and lively neighborhood are great for visitors, with shopping, transport, restaurants, and major sights all walkable. The rooms felt spacious and comfortable by European standards, and breakfast had a good buffet selection with efficient service. A big yes from me, highly recommend it for a Madrid visit.

The hotel is right in the busy heart of Madrid, with groceries, shops, and commercial centers close by on foot. We stayed four nights in a room with a King bed. The breakfast room has recently moved from the third floor to the ground floor. It's huge, modern, and colorful, with a bar, and we loved the contemporary style. The buffet breakfast was excellent. They let us check in early and sent up two complimentary bottles of cava sparkling wine for our anniversary. Giulia Rabe was my first contact when booking, then Lucia checked us in and helped us over the next two days, and Paola was also lovely. All were friendly, accommodating, and smiling. The front desk team really brightened our days at the hotel. I highly recommend staying here in Madrid.

The room was a good size, though it could have been cleaner. Breakfast didn't offer much variety, but everything we tried was tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location is excellent. We had a pleasant stay overall.
