Only YOU Boutique Hotel

The staff made this one-night stopover especially nice. They were friendly and went out of their way to help, including a glass of cava when we arrived, coffee when we left, and a late checkout for our evening flight, all at no extra charge. We booked one of the smaller interior rooms, with a window onto an internal skylight, so we knew what to expect. Even that room had great amenities. The hotel also has a good cocktail and tapas bar, a lovely courtyard for coffee, and a gluten-free cafe. Thanks, Only YOU!

The staff were easily among the kindest and most helpful we’ve come across, and every interaction felt warm and genuine. We spent five nights at Only YOU in Madrid, and would happily book it again. It has a real boutique feel, with none of the chain-hotel atmosphere. There are hundreds of places to eat within a ten-minute walk, along with plenty of shopping, from local shops to familiar brands. The location puts you in a great cultural neighborhood just off the main tourist routes. Our two rooms, which we changed between halfway through because of other bookings, were both beautiful. The Blue room, one of the suite-style rooms, was our favorite. Everything felt high quality, from the sheets and pillows to the cleanliness. They cleaned in the morning and again while we were out at dinner, which was so nice. We had drinks at the artsy hotel bar on several nights. It had a cool atmosphere and fun clientele, and was often our last stop before bed. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night. The menu had an Asian touch, including sushi, and the waitstaff were attentive while still giving us room to enjoy our wine and long, European-style meal with appetizers, mains, desserts, and more bottles of good wine than we needed. My wife and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Its ratings on Tripadvisor and Google are well deserved. We wouldn’t be disappointed to return to Madrid and stay here again.

Eva made our evening at the Only YOU Hotel bar special, and we’ll definitely return. She clearly knows her stuff: the cocktails were delicious, nicely balanced, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend!

The staff were nice and professional, and the hotel’s design is distinctive. Our room was fairly large, but had no windows facing outside. That didn’t bother me, though it could matter to other guests, so check which room you’re booking. I did wish there were a handheld bidet. The location worked really well for our one-night stopover. It’s a good area for walking, but not ideal if you prefer to travel by car, apart from getting to and from the hotel.
