Pacifico Suites near Retiro

Great value, with great rooms and off-hand service.

I wouldn't recommend this place if you're after comfort or clear pricing. It's a pretty basic hotel for what you pay, and you keep getting charged extra for things that should have been clear upfront. I'd rather spend a little more per night somewhere better and avoid the surprises. The deluxe/king-size room costs extra, but the bed is actually two single beds pushed together. That doesn't match the description or feel worth the added charge. Cleaning and fresh towels are also tied to a €45 daily fee, no matter how long you're staying. Otherwise, the sheets and room aren't cleaned, and you have to use the same towel each day or pay more to have it replaced. The whole experience was quite disappointing.

There was plenty of room, but no wardrobe, so I asked for a clothes rack. The staff were attentive and sorted it out quickly.

The reply I attached pretty much sums up their response. The listing mentions air conditioning, but it was set to blow no cold air, just fan air since it wasn't summer. And that "sofa bed"? It's a plain sofa that doesn't open or move. I don't know why they call it a sofa bed, because it isn't one.
