The hotel is in a very good location, and breakfast has a nice range of choices. Our interior room was extremely hot when we arrived, even though it was winter. The following night, the staff kindly moved us to an exterior room, which was much more comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel twice on our Spain honeymoon, and the Las Letras location was hard to beat. From March 19-23 we had the room with the green blanket, then went to Granada for two nights. The hotel kept our large suitcases in a locked room behind the desk. When we came back, we had a slightly better room for March 25-29. We walked almost everywhere in Madrid. The city is flat and lovely, and we were well placed. We took a few taxis in the rain. The metro also isn't as convenient as Barcelona's. The hotel itself was really good: comfortable beds, good water pressure and temperature, and barely any street noise. The in-room setup felt odd for Americans, but we had plenty of outlets and connected a Switch and laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable. We used the laundry service once, along with washing a few things in the sink ourselves. It cost $100, was nearly same-day, and the laundry came back nicely done. When we both had colds, the front desk staff helped us find the very close farmacia. There are also several breakfast spots, sushi and gelato right around the corner. We'd stay again. Stay 1: Hotels.com, US $765, booked in December 2024. Stay 2: Room Mate direct, $841 paid on arrival, also booked in Dec 2024.

The room was bigger than we'd expected and had everything we needed. It was clean, too. We also landed exactly where we wanted to be, in a central, interesting part of Madrid with historic sights and world renown museums nearby. Everything was walkable. At check-in, the reception team took time to answer our questions about the area and get us oriented. VERY HELPFUL!

The staff were really friendly, and both the room cleaning and location were great. The room looked nice, but I couldn't see a sensible place to hang towels. I also didn't like that the toilet was separate from the handwashing area. There's no gym or bar, and breakfast felt a bit low effort.

The location is great and stayed quiet, and the accommodation was comfortable. The hospitality was amazing. I can only highly recommend this hotel.
