The place is right in Malasaña, with a nightclub on the same side of the street. It's great if you're after a party with young people, and the price is reasonable, but I wouldn't choose it for business unless money is really tight. There isn't an elevator, and the old wooden steps feel like you could slip on them. I also found the street scary at night, especially on weekdays, because of some dangerous people around. Don't go alone.
It's affordable and in a really handy spot, almost behind Primark and close to Gran Vía and Plaza de la Luna. There's an amazing traditional Chinese restaurant there, and nearby you'll also find a gay-friendly sex shop and sex workers on the street. My room was quiet, at least.
The rooms are small, and the hotel is simple and modest. Still, it's pleasant, reasonably priced, and in a perfect location.
The bed was really comfortable, and the room was clean, modern, and warm. The receptionist was very friendly. I'd happily come back.
