The rooftop was a nice extra, with good views, a laid-back feel and a small pool for warmer weather. We also found the location really handy, just a few minutes on foot from Málaga’s historic center, so getting around was easy. Check-in was simple, the staff were friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed a few nights and would gladly come back.

Breakfast was good value, with plenty to choose from, and we really enjoyed the pork and mushrooms at the hotel restaurant. Its menu is minimalist, with an interesting mix of meat and fish dishes. The room was clean and comfortable, though the minimalist blanco look may not suit everyone, and the glass partition between the bedroom and bathroom might feel a bit exposed. The hotel is only a short walk from the center and nearby sights. One mini bar quirk: the flip-top bottles had no opener.

The rooftop bar gave us a relaxed place to unwind, and the views were lovely. Our room faced a noisy side of the building, with sirens and motorcycles at night, and we did have a small room issue. The staff sorted it quickly through housekeeping and offered to move us if needed. Reception were especially kind when we explained that our apartment had been cancelled at the last minute and another booking hadn’t replied. This was one of the more affordable places we could find on short notice. They also offered breakfast and surprised me with birthday champagne, a really thoughtful gesture. Everyone was helpful and accommodating at a stressful time.

We had a lovely lunch at the rooftop bar, especially the Goats Cheese salad and Smoked Sardines on toast. Staff there and at reception were really helpful. Our room on the 7th Floor looked over the roof top bar and pool area, and it was ideal and very quiet. The hotel is also very well placed for the old town, its bars, restaurants and sights.

The pool was closed for maintenance, though it wasn't warm enough to use anyway. The hotel was lovely, the room clean, and breakfast lovely too.
