Sol Malaga Guadalmar Hotel

We had a fantastic family get together here. The hotel put our four rooms together, and the staff were welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. The buffets were excellent value, with a great range of local dishes. There was a lovely atmosphere, and lots of activities as well as the facilities. We’re definitely planning to come back. Many thanks for making it a trip to remember.

I stayed with my son in December. The area was peaceful and the views were beautiful. There aren’t many bars or restaurants nearby, but that suited us fine. There’s an excellent bus service into central Malaga, with a stop right outside the hotel. We were welcomed perfectly, and every staff member we met was helpful and charming.

We made good use of the buffet lunch, which was easily the best meal; some days we chose a late lunch instead of dinner. There was something for everyone, and the food was faultless. Our group of five friends had connecting rooms on a full-board stay, and it worked perfectly. The hotel was lovely and great value, with comfortable, well-kept reception, grounds, pool and restaurant areas, plus easy access to the beach. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. It’s a quiet location, depending on what you’re after, and buses and taxis stop right outside. We’d definitely come back.

Hugo made the stay memorable for my seven-year-old daughter. He ran creative daytime activities like drawing, clay, slime and football, then a fun disco for the kids in the evening. Even when she was the only child there once, his energy stayed high. She didn’t want to leave, and Hugo is a real asset to the hotel. We also enjoyed the serene, beautiful setting and the restaurant at Sol Guadalmar Hotel. We visited in December, so neither the indoor nor outdoor pool was available, but it was still a very pleasant stay.
