Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella - Adults Recommended

The breakfast was outstanding, even if we sometimes had to queue for it. We spent a week here in November and would happily come back. It’s a large, well-run hotel in a great spot in Marbella, with good staff. There are only a couple of minor annoyances: the room storage was limited, with a small wardrobe area and two drawers, and the lifts can get busy. The “towels” were another quibble.

Toni really made my stay at Amàre Hotel. He was kind and attentive the whole time, helped me get around the city, suggested restaurants and local attractions, and later checked how they’d worked out. His recommendations were spot on. When I had a small accident and fell, he came over right away, made sure I was okay, offered water, and asked whether I needed medical help. That kind of care and professionalism stuck with me. He made me feel looked after and valued, and he’s a real asset to the team. Management should recognize his dedication. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a nice mix of comfort and style. From arrival, the atmosphere felt warm and positive. It was one of my best hotel stays, and I’d happily return and say hello to Toni. I’d recommend Amàre Hotel for its service.

The hotel is clean and pleasant, but the bar service was awful enough to put us off going back. There are buzzers on the tables, but they don’t work, so you can wait twenty minutes for nothing. We mentioned this at the bar on two nights and nobody apologized or seemed to care. You have to order and collect your drinks at the bar yourself, and even with around ten people there, it took 30 minutes. The first night my drink took 25 minutes. The second night we gave up and went somewhere else. I never saw a manager, and even asking for an ashtray ended with staff forgetting and walking away. There’s a serious management problem. I complained at the hotel because it was such a disgraceful experience. It’s sad to see people hired without training. Don’t rely on the table buzzers.

The beach club and pool area were highlights, with plenty of space and really comfortable sunbeds. We stayed four nights and loved the place. Everything was spotless, the staff were incredible, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the Old Town. The service felt like a true five-star experience. Highly recommend!
