The location is good, and the apartment itself was pleasant, with great facilities and a really spacious terrace. It works if you want to be independent and simply have an apartment in Marbella, but there's no hotel atmosphere. There isn't a restaurant, the lobby bar is out of service, and no staff seem dedicated to the apartments. We couldn't find anyone to ask about checkout. We left our bags with a doorman but weren't given a luggage tag. It felt like an old, empty ghost hotel.

The penthouse was lovely and very clean, and we especially enjoyed the rooftop area and hot tub. I had a lovely stay in general, though the check-in staff weren't very friendly or helpful. The pool didn't open until midday, and the area was closed in the morning, with the doors padlocked so you couldn't even get out. There was no pool bar or shop, which left the complex feeling short on atmosphere. The neglected, run-down apartment next door was disappointing to look at whenever we went up our stairs.

The rooms were large and very clean, and the staff were friendly. It's well located just outside the old town, with a taxi rank right outside. Check-in is on floor 1, but we didn't see signs explaining that and waited on the ground floor for staff before calling. We were then told the concierge was downstairs and check-in was upstairs.

Guadalpin Boutique is my favorite of the places renting similar rooms and suites. The apartments are much cleaner and the service is far better. It's in one of Marbella's best beachside locations.

It's 6:30 in the morning and I've barely slept. A party in a nearby room has been making noise all night. I told the receptionist, but he did nothing. They were clearly breaking all the Covid rules in that room too. I'm in room 111, and I think the party is in room 101 or somewhere close to it. Not happy at all.
