Apartamentos Villas Romanas

Street parking was easy, and the apartment is well located near the aqueduct. It has a fully equipped kitchen and has been renovated recently. The bed felt a bit too firm for my back since I prefer a softer one, but I'd still highly recommend the place.

We stayed one night in the ground-floor apartment with our two children and were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, comfortable, and laid out really well. At the back there's a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, plus a fold-down bed in a passageway, which we thought was a great feature. The entrance has a small living room, kitchen, and toilet. They'd provided coffee capsules and a bottle of water, which we really appreciated. The area was very quiet, with free parking right outside, and the apartment is next to the Aqueduct, five minutes from the Arch of Trajan. The only less pleasant part was a slight sewage smell in the bathrooms. We'd definitely come back.

It was a very quiet neighborhood, and the cottage was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a few days. We were two adults and two children. The location was good, though far from the city center. One drawback was the heating, which comes from air conditioning units and felt uncomfortable at night. The bathroom in the bedroom also gets very condensated.

We were just passing through Mérida and stayed one night, but the apartment was spotless and tidy, and smelled clean as soon as we walked in. It was well equipped, with the kitchen basics, and even four toothbrushes in the bathroom. Sr. Alfonso, who I spoke with only by phone, was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is in the bedroom, which was the only awkward part. We were two couples, and the couple on the sofa bed didn't feel comfortable going into the bedroom to use the bathroom during the night. Otherwise, everything was impeccable, including the location and the peaceful setting. Recommended!
