We found it a really comfortable place to recharge during our trip. It was quiet and very clean, and most attractions and restaurants were within about 15 minutes. The host was kind and helpful throughout our stay. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Mérida.

Our ride to Mérida was going to arrive too late for check-in, so I had to cancel. We should have checked the check-in time, that part was our fault, but the property was very rude about it. That left a poor impression of the management. I can't say whether it's a nice place to stay.

A decent place in a great spot, and everything else was as expected. It could use a toilet brush and a mat for the bathroom.

The location made it easy to reach the Roman Theatre, Plaza Mayor, Roman Bridge, and the other sights. It's a good option for people walking the Ruta de la Plata, too. Fernando really made us feel welcome. He was professional, dedicated, and helpful, and even arranged a massage and an early breakfast. He also drove me to park my car at Cervantes and picked me up afterward. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with a fresh-looking interior and a great shower. I slept peacefully. Excellent value for money.

The hostal is in an excellent location and is nice enough. Cyclists should know that storing a bike costs €6 each. When we disagreed with the owner about that charge, he became very unpleasant and confrontational.
