Calypso Boutique Apartments

The apartments were spotless, well equipped and felt very safe. There’s also a washing machine and dryer guests can use in the complex. We stayed in January and enjoyed the peaceful location, lovely view, nice pool and very comfortable sun loungers. The apartments are up a hill, but taxis are cheap and walking down is pleasant. There are steps on the way up too, good exercise if you choose to walk. Excellent apartments, first class, and I’d definitely recommend them.

Calypso Boutique gave us a really peaceful holiday, with great sea and hillside views and most things within walking distance or a taxi ride. The garden under the palm trees was a lovely shady spot to sit and even nod off in the midday sun. The pool was clean and pleasantly warm, unlike some places where the water has been freezing. I also enjoyed the small gym, a nice way to unwind and stay trim using the machines and weights. Our comfortable apartment had what we needed, including excellent air conditioning, and the laundry room came with a dryer. Everything was clean, and the resort was run in a friendly, professional way. We wanted a relaxing but adventurous break, and it delivered.

The area is very hilly, with lots of stairs. Our three-day stay was completely unattended: we received codes for the front door and apartment and didn’t see any staff. That suited me fine, and there was no problem. The room was a good standard and well equipped, though the bathroom was tiny. Wi-Fi was good, and the small pool area was pleasant. There’s a small sea view.

It’s a quiet area with lovely apartments and a clean pool. There was always a sun lounger free. The harbour and restaurants are about a ten-minute walk away, and guests can use the free laundry.
