Servatur Terrazamar Suite & Sun Suite

It's a solid three-star place, close to the main shopping strip and bars. In December it was very quiet after 9pm. The sandy beach is an 18-minute walk, and there's plenty of room to sunbathe. A couple of loungers and a parasol cost €10.50 in December. We had a jacuzzi, though the hot water only made it just warm enough. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants with different food and prices. We had a great week of weather, mostly sunny and 22°. Highly recommended.

We just got back from a week at SunSuites. This was our second stay, and we've already booked for next year. The apartments are just right for self-catering, and the staff are lovely and friendly. Our room was spotless when we arrived. The huge balcony is a big selling point, with its own sun loungers for days when you don't fancy the pool. There were plenty of pool loungers available all day. You can walk to the commercial centre, ferry port and bus station, with loads to do nearby.

We stayed at SunSuites from 2 October to 10 October 2025, eight days in all, and I loved it from the moment I got off our transfer coach from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Airport. As a first-time visitor to Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria, I was more impressed than I've ever been anywhere. Room 1216 was faultless. The apartment was spacious, with a living area, table, television, couch and pull-out bed. I spent most of the holiday relaxing on the fabulous terrace. It had a Jacuzzi, which came in handy on days when it reached 29/30 degrees. The kitchen was good, with a decent fridge and freezer, and the bathroom was good too. The beds were good quality, with mattresses that weren't too firm, a quilt and extra pillows. I can't wait to return.

There were loads of sunbeds at each pool, and you also had your own private balcony with sunbeds if you wanted some privacy. There are three hotels on three different levels, each with its own swimming pool and bar area. The staff were very helpful, and the bar and shop were great. The location was perfect for us: one set of stairs takes you to the main shopping centre with bars, restaurants and shops. There's another hotel exit that leads straight behind the Morgan mall, which was fantastic with the children.
