Hostel Azul Cielo

The staff were nice, but the room stayed around 85 degrees even with the AC on, and I couldn't sleep until it finally cooled at 3 a.m. That's rough when you're getting up early for the Camino. I also killed four spiders in my bed.

The front desk woman was warm and welcoming, and the shower had hot water. The location, at one end of the main street, was neither especially good nor bad. It's a fairly standard albergue, though it cost a little more than other places I'd stayed on the Camino. The blanket was thin and didn't feel like it had been washed recently.

The manageress was friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. There are about five rooms, a little crowded, with modern bunks that have lights and power sockets. The kitchen and sitting area are basic, and there's no catering, though bars and restaurants are close by, including the Mexican they run. Above average for an albergue, but 20 euros each felt expensive.

Unfortunately, the staff seemed really confused.
