Albergue Corredoiras

A very clean, pleasant Albergue with helpful staff, though their English isn’t very strong. The beds are clean, there’s room for backpacks, and the cabinets lock. Showers are spacious enough and have plenty of hot water. The kitchen has a fridge, and milk and coffee are free. You can wash and dry clothes, and free towels are a nice extra. On rainy days, the shoe dryer must be especially welcome.

The laundry service alone would bring us back. We’d barely arrived, worn out from the day’s walk, when they handed us a plastic tub for our dirty clothes. Everything came back clean and folded on our bunk. It was included in an already very reasonable price. They also had free milk and a kettle, so we could finally have a proper cup of tea after boiling water in saucepans at earlier stops. We treated ourselves to muesli for breakfast instead of bread. This was our favourite albergue on the Camino. It’s right on the route, with a lovely welcome and modern facilities. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, the beds comfortable, lockers big enough for rucksacks, and the wash facilities were good, with a couple of hairdryers. There’s a nice little reception area too. We’d absolutely stay again. Thanks so much!

Checked in today and wow, what a place. I’d read about the laundry service but had to see it to believe it. It’s been raining for days, so finding shoe dryers in the bathroom is amazing. They even keep ice packs in the freezer for hiking injuries. I’m not sure how I’m going to leave tomorrow ❤️

A cozy, super clean, well-organized place to recharge before the final day toward Santiago. The dorm is spacious, the beds have curtains, and the lockers include charging stations so you can charge your phone while you’re away. There are quite a few mixed bathrooms. Coffee, tea, and milk are complimentary, and laundry is included in high season such as July. The staff were very polite and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend it.
