Sol Fuerteventura Jandia - All Suites

The suite was clean when we arrived, spacious and had direct access to the pool. The bed was incredibly comfortable, a real highlight. We were very happy with our choice of Sol Meliá Fuerteventura for our recent 4-day island trip. At check-in we were offered full all-inclusive for just €15 per day per person. It covered breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus unlimited drinks and snacks from the pool bar. There was a wide choice at each meal, enough to suit even picky eaters. The front desk also arranged an early breakfast well before opening time for our very early checkout. I'd recommend renting a car. The hotel is about a 50min drive from the airport, and close enough to Cofete Beach that it would be a shame to miss that treasure. One thing to improve: staff should all know what's included in the AI option. Twice we were refused drinks at the pool bar, then returned five minutes later and another staff member served us without any issue.

Paula's Aqua gym was a favorite, and we liked being close to the beach and the little town with plenty of restaurants. The staff were all fantastic, especially Maite. Our room was cleaner, more spacious and generally better than we expected. There was a lot of food choice, though it got fairly repetitive, as you'd expect.

There was a good range of food and plenty of it, and everything seemed fresh. The hotel is in a very good location and offered good value for the price. We were satisfied and would come back. The hotel doesn't have its own parking. You can park right below it from Thursday through Wednesday, but parking is restricted from Wednesday afternoon until Thursday. We also expected a kettle in the standard room, as we'd normally expect one in a 4-star hotel, but there wasn't one.

We were upgraded to a sea-view room by the receptionist, which was a lovely touch for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. The rooms are lovely, the hotel is clean and well-kept, and the staff have been great throughout. The pool areas are spacious and looked after, and the all-inclusive food has been consistently hot with a good choice. Service around the hotel has been friendly and efficient, so everything feels relaxed and easy. We're still staying at Sol Fuerteventura Jandía and have been really impressed so far. We've been to lots of 4 and 5 star hotels in recent years, and this one easily compares.
