The location was the real highlight. We enjoyed being near the sea, and the hotel is very well priced. The staff were welcoming, and there’s a shop right outside, plus two vending machines for drinks and ice cream. We stayed four nights with the buffet included, and made good use of our terrace and balcony with its nice view. Our room had two separate bedrooms, one with a springy mattress and the other with a firm one. It could get roasting without the AC, but once on, it got cold at night and the blankets were very thin. The bed wasn’t very clean when we arrived, and it seemed the sheets were just left on when they made it. The bathroom was adequate, though the shower kept switching off randomly and shared a connection with the sink, so we couldn’t use both at once. There was also a public shower room on one floor, and it was in good condition. The buffet had a good selection and reasonable hours, though they never changed the options, which I think most people would be fine with. I enjoyed my stay and would generally recommend it.

We were sitting in Miraflores, and this review is just about breakfast. There was pretty much everything you could want: fruit, eggs prepared in different ways, pastries, ham, bacon, local dishes, and good coffee. One of the best.

My friend got bed bugs here. When we tried to cut our stay short because of it, the hotel charged us the full amount and didn’t even apologize. The staff were incredibly rude even before we complained. They’re also racist against Asians. This hotel is a nightmare, stay away at all costs. Can Pastilla has plenty of affordable places, so spend your money elsewhere.

For what I paid, I was more than happy with what I got. You can’t fault the location, and even though it was in the middle of the action, it was pretty quiet and peaceful. The food was a 3/5, but fine for the price. I had a ground-floor room, 025, with a little garden. It was a lovely spot to relax, read my paper and smoke my pipe.

The location is good, and so is breakfast, though the rooms are a little old. Even with a reservation, it took hours to get a room. They ask you to enter your arrival time on the website, but that seemed pointless. We ended up leaving and starting our plans so the hotel’s unfortunate system wouldn’t mess them up.
