Hotel Luxor

The one issue for me was how little soundproofing the rooms have. Other guests' alarm clocks woke me several times. Otherwise, it was a nice, clean hotel with a generous breakfast that runs until 11. The staff were very friendly, especially Mr. Manuel at breakfast, who made us feel welcome. I would recommend staying here.

Our room came with a rooftop terrace and jacuzzi, which was such a treat. The hotel was clean and stylish, and the location worked really well. Breakfast had lots of fresh choices, and everyone on staff was kind and helpful throughout. We'd definitely stay again.

The bus into the city centre costs 2 euros, and there's plenty around the hotel too, so being outside town wasn't much of a problem. My stay was fairly pleasant, with no major complaints. The place is reasonably clean and spacious, but the rooms have limited facilities, staffing seemed thin, perhaps because we visited off season, and the food and coffee were pretty low quality. I wouldn't call it a 4-star hotel. If you expect something closer to 3 stars, you should be content.

The restaurant staff deserve a special mention, always smiling, caring, and kind. Luxor is a nice hotel about five minutes' walk from the beach. The rooms are spacious and have the amenities you'd expect from a 4-star place. Breakfast was great, with fruit, vegetables, continental options, and sweets. Dinner was good too, simple food but well prepared. There are three small, nice pools, and towels are provided. Most guests seemed to be older German visitors or families.
