Hotel Cabot Playa Grande - Adults Only

The location is great, a one-minute walk to the beach and bus stop for the city center, and a 10-minute walk to the airport bus. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We stayed in the premium room with a terrace and loved the whirlpool. It looks small in the photo, but it fits two adults. The bed was comfortable, the toilet was small but sparkling clean, and there was a coffee machine and small fridge. Breakfast was not bad, and the staff were kind and helpful. The air conditioner and phone in our room didn’t work. The receptionist came to fix the AC even at 1am and sorted out the phone the next day.

The breakfast was included, delicious and varied, and the staff were kind, helpful and spoke English, German and Spanish. It’s a very cool place, so close to the beach, with a great balcony view. The room wasn’t big, but it was cozy and in good condition. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was absolutely great. The rooms weren’t great, but the hotel didn’t promise more than they were, and they did the job. The hotel is right on the seafront, where there’s partying all night. It was my first night in Mallorca and I had no idea, so it probably wasn’t the best choice if you want to sleep and relax. If you’re looking to party, though, it’s great.

The mattresses were hard as stone, though breakfast was typical German fare, with lots of charcuterie. It didn’t feel like Palma to me, more like Deutschland. The night receptionist gave awful service: no welcome when we arrived, rudeness, and then in the following days looking away whenever we entered to avoid eye contact. If you’re not German or Dutch, avoid this place. I’ll post reviews everywhere to warn tourists.
