Iberostar Selection Playa de Palma Hotel

The food was a big part of what I remembered: breakfast and dinner were both satisfying, with excellent quality in each dish rather than a huge number of choices. Everything was clean and nicely presented. After that stay, I wrote a detailed blog review, and quite a few readers ended up visiting. I was looking at hotels for a Mallorca trip the week after next when this place came back to mind. I stayed here three years ago and had such a good time that I started browsing Google Maps and thinking about returning. The room was very clean, and the pool was spotless and well cared for. Its seaside location was convenient, and I could easily go out for lunch and try different nearby restaurants. I highly recommend it, and I’m planning to come back on this trip. Really looking forward to it!

The sea view made the stay feel special: our spacious room had big windows and a generous balcony, and we watched beautiful sunsets every evening. The hotel is close to the beach, and the city center was a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The pool is large and sheltered from the wind, so it was comfortable even in February. We were there as a couple for six days in late February and had a very enjoyable stay at Iberostar Playa de Palma. Alex was especially kind and helpful, and the service was consistently warm and attentive. The property is well maintained, though you can see some signs of age. Breakfast had a great selection, and we also liked the quality of the lunch options. A relaxing visit with comfortable rooms and lovely views.

We liked the view from our room over the pool and the sea, and dinner had a good range of choices each night. Since it was out of season, some bars, including the sunset bar, weren’t open. The purple bar overlooking the bar was open and made for a nice setting. I’d like to return and try the sunset bar another time. I was last here in 2017, so it was lovely to come back and see how the hotel has progressed. Manager Lilia was lovely, and Esteban in the main restaurant deserves a special mention for always being friendly, chatty, and helpful.

Pau made sure we were comfortable and knew her way around the hotel. Thanks for taking such good care of us 💕 We had an amazing stay. The room was great, the view was lovely, and the service was perfect. Every moment felt like paradise.
