Pepe made dinner even more enjoyable with his attentive, gentlemanly service, and the restaurant team were professional and discreet. Housekeeping was impeccable, with flowers and chocolates left on the bed. Carolina also brought so much energy to yoga, Zumba, aqua gym, Pilates, and the other activities. She brightened every day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout, and reception was excellent. Two people stood out: a warm, multilingual Greek woman and a very kind, efficient young receptionist. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, with balconies facing the sea. The hotel sits right on the waterfront, with ocean views, ground floor pools and jacuzzis, and another pool on the eighth floor. This beachfront stay exceeded my expectations.

A handy perk compared with other hotels is the free water dispensers with ice cubes on every floor. The rooms are small but comfortable, and breakfast has lots of tasty choices. The entertainment program, including Agnes’s workshops, is fun. The guests are a mix of partygoers and retired holidaymakers.

Breakfast had loads of choices, and the hotel was spotless throughout. I also had the spa’s special offer for a full body massage and facial, and it was so good I fell asleep. My only grumble was that the spa hadn’t booked me in to wash and change. There were lots of people coming in and out of the room while I was trying to get changed.

The pool staff were the real highlight, always friendly and attentive. Free ice creams and treats from the bar were a lovely extra on pool days. Breakfast had a fantastic range, though dinner felt a little similar from one evening to the next. I also wished there were lighter lunch choices, like sandwiches or snacks to have by the pool. We spent a week at Iberostar Waves Bahía de Palma and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent, very close to the beach and ideal for a relaxing holiday. It was a brilliant stay, and we’d happily return.

I was really glad we chose half board, because we ate so well all week. The morning and evening buffets were incredible, and the staff were very friendly. Daily aquafit, workshops, complimentary snacks and drinks, and music in the evenings all added to the experience. It was my first holiday of this kind, and I had a great time. Highly recommended!
