Regina Selfcheck-in Smart Rooms

The cathedral is only a few minutes away on foot, and the central spot was still pleasantly quiet. Check-in was quick and easy. My room was small, but new and clean, just right for a short stay. I’d happily stay here again.

The location is genuinely great, but I left with a very bad impression and would absolutely not recommend these apartments. The room had good furnishings, but the bathroom wasn’t very clean, and there seemed to be mold inside the air conditioner, as though it hadn’t been cleaned in years. On our second day, drops started falling from the ceiling onto the bed. Staff said they couldn’t do anything and didn’t help, so we checked out early because we didn’t want to stay any longer. Noise was another major problem. The apartments are directly below a bar, where people talked loudly until closing, and loud garbage trucks came through all night. These were the worst apartments I’ve ever stayed in.

The location was excellent for exploring the city on foot, and the luggage room and guest toilet were really handy before check-in and after checkout. We were asked when we’d arrive and could check in early. Our triple room was small but adequate, and there wasn’t much street noise despite facing the road. The air conditioning pointed at one of the beds, so we couldn’t run it at night. Good value overall.

The price was really reasonable, and the rooms had everything we needed. The area was nice too, close to the centre without being right in the middle of it. Most of all, the staff were incredibly friendly and involved. Since we were travelling with a baby, they arranged an upgrade so we’d have more room for the cot, and they sorted out everything else we needed. Thank you :)
