A busy spot with a great choice of food to refuel a hungry pilgrim. It made for a convenient, welcome stop on the long climb out of Portomarin.

The atmosphere was okay, though it felt a little busy. The coffee we had wasn't very good, and I didn't have any particular observations about the staff.

The bathrooms were clean, and breakfast was delicious without costing too much. A great Camino stop.

The clean room, fresh sheets and nice shower with plenty of hot water were just what I needed to recover. I'd pushed myself too hard the first day and hurt my knee, and the women at the front desk were sweet, helpful and accommodating. They offered an ice pack and patiently explained the backpack service when I asked. The menu is simple but delicious, especially the fish a la planca. One of the cooks made me laugh in the morning: she called out my name for my order, I joked that I thought I was in trouble, and she winked and smiled.

The service was high quality, and breakfast was really good. The eggs, bacon and french fries were delicious, as were the cheese and ham dishes.
