The pool was quiet and it was easy to find a sun lounger. The lobby has a nice atmosphere and some modern design, and the mascalzone bar attached had entertainment on some nights in September. It was okay. There aren’t shower rooms, but if you’ve checked out and are waiting for a flight, they’ll let you use a room. Our studio loft had a very odd layout and faced the street, which was extremely loud. You’re guaranteed to wake up at 8am. The kitchenette seemed designed to meet the bare minimum for calling it a studio: there was a sink that was completely useless, plus a microwave, but no dishes or cutlery to use with it. So don’t expect to make a meal. The fridge was a decent size. We paid for half board and were let down by the low-quality food and limited options for a four-star hotel. It got repetitive. Someone else’s recent review of the restaurant atmosphere is very accurate. The hotel looks great in pictures and brochures, but was quite disappointing in person. It seems designed to appeal to people who want a nice Instagram photo, while the actual stay falls short.

The location is lively, with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops nearby. Our solarium room had great views over the pool and was clean, well equipped, and definitely big enough. The pool itself wasn’t huge, but there was plenty of room for all the guests. Breakfast was good quality with a very wide choice, and the staff were friendly. We had a lovely stay.

The pool was lovely, with a good number of loungers, and the hotel itself had a great feel to it. Rooms were modern and clean. The buffet had a good range, but the food wasn’t very warm and the quality was only above average. Drinks were expensive at dinner and in the bar. Bar service was poor too, we weren’t approached once to order and had to flag someone down. Still, a beautiful hotel overall.

The kids loved the kids club and could hardly be coaxed out of the pool. Our room was great, better than I expected, and the dining room food was good with lots of variety. The pool was cleaned every night by some sort of machine, ready for the next day. We’ve just come back from a week here. The hotel was very clean and the staff were great. We’d definitely recommend it and stay again. Thanks.
