Ocean Vistas Apartments

We only had a week here, though I'd happily move in for good if I could. The apartment had everything for a comfortable stay and more, including a comfortable bed, a large dining table, a spacious wardrobe and a fully equipped kitchen. Soundproofing was good, and the ocean outside didn't disturb our sleep. The ocean view from the window was stunning, if you're lucky enough to get an ocean-facing apartment. The residence is in a great area, with cafes, restaurants, a promenade, shops and boutiques nearby. Parking at the residence costs €20 a day and needs to be reserved ahead. Free city parking is available too, but about a 20-minute walk away. I'd love to return for another holiday.

We stayed with family for 10 days and had a great time. The cleaning staff were awesome, cleaned everything so well and left it smelling really good. You know the staff are good when they treat your plushies nicely ♥︎. I also liked that the door locks with two turns and that the windows work properly. The reception girls on the ground floor were very sweet and helped us a lot.

The views and location are great, and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. It looked just like the hotel's website and had everything we needed. There is building work on one of the 15 floors, but I haven't heard it and it hasn't bothered me while lying in my room writing this. The pool is clean and I've been happy to use it, though it's seen better days. Its advertised opening hours are oddly short, so there are no early morning or evening swims. There's no parking for guests. It's hard to stop nearby to load or unload, and the parking on site is only for staff and builders. I'd happily stay here again.

The room was bright and clean, with a great sea view, and was surprisingly quiet despite the waves. The shower was spacious and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen, though, was poorly equipped: only a microwave, no oven, no small bowls, and a frying pan too small to cook a meal for two. A dish rack and hooks for tea towels would have helped. The windows only tilt open, which made it hard to clear cooking smells from the combined kitchen space. Communication from the hotel was poor. The booking listed the place as 'Ocean Vista 24', but the actual building was called 'Oro Negro', which caused needless confusion when we arrived. Parking costs €20 per day, subject to availability, so we used the free Esplanade de Muelle car park, a 20-minute walk away. Neither detail was clearly shared beforehand.
