H10 Salou Princess

We enjoyed our stay at H10 Salou Princess so much that we’ve already booked two weeks for September 2026. The location suited us perfectly, there’s a supermarket right next door and the prices there were very reasonable. The restaurant had a fantastic choice at breakfast and dinner, with a range of food for different diets. Drinks at the indoor and outdoor bars were also reasonably priced, and the staff there were extremely pleasant. The rooms were clean, airy, spacious and very comfortable. Towels were changed daily if required. The hotel was immaculately clean and always smelled fresh. From the quick, easy check-in and friendly reception welcome onwards, every member of staff was a credit to the H10 Chain. They worked hard to keep guests happy, went above and beyond, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Thanks to all of them for making our holiday so enjoyable.

We were half board and really enjoyed the evening meals, with plenty of different dishes through the week. It was a treat each night, though my waistline might disagree. Breakfast was a decent attempt at English breakfast, which nobody does like the English, plus lots of other choices: continental food, cereals, a wonderful range of fruit, freshly fried eggs, tea, coffee, juices and even different milks. The hotel is in central Salou, and our room had a nice bed and quality bedding. It was very clean, as was the rest of the place, and staff were friendly and helpful. I’d definitely return here, and would feel confident booking another H10 hotel too.

The cold food was the reason I wouldn’t give this a five-star rating or call it a four-star hotel. There was plenty of choice, but everything was lukewarm at best whenever we went into the restaurant. On our last morning, we queued for it to open at 7:45am and the food was already cold. The restaurant staff and chefs felt very different from the rest of the hotel team, and generally seemed unable to raise a smile. Salou is nice, but I’d probably choose another hotel next time because of the food. Elsewhere, reception and bar staff were excellent, friendly and polite. Manuel seemed to be everywhere every day, whichever bar we went to, and works his socks off. The hotel and the separate, old-fashioned pub bar at the end of it, which is also open to the public, both had entertainment. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well placed, about 10 minutes on foot from the beach and town. Our room was good, with a bath as well as a shower and a fridge. The pool area is picturesque, but there’s a lot of tree shade if you don’t get the right spot. At the top of the steps there’s an area with no cover at all. Nobody can use the pool until its doors are unlocked at 9am. We had no trouble finding a lounger in October, though it might be different in summer. The beach is a short walk away if you can’t find one.

We were H10 members and got a free cocktail, plus biscuits and water in our room. The pool was lovely, the evening entertainment was nice, and there was a good atmosphere. It’s right in the centre of everything, about a 15-minute walk from Portadventura Park. We’ll definitely come back. The buffet was lovely and everyone working there seemed to greet you with a smile. Our room was clean and nice, with a comfortable bed. The shower was amazingly powerful, and they supplied shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, toothbrushes and combs.
