Tagoror Beach Apartments - Adults Only

We'd no hesitation booking these quiet apartments again. We had a superior room, and it was still cheap. The staff were safe, honest, helpful and trustworthy. The beach is a 40-second walk away, with a supermarket across the road. The room was clean, and we were pleasantly surprised it had already been cleaned after just one day. It came with a TV, internet, toaster, large fridge-freezer, kettle and saucepan. There’s a lift, and the shower had great pressure. The main door key lets you in after 9pm, which felt very safe. On checkout day, we could use the shower and suitcase facilities. When the TV had a small cable problem, the maintenance man quickly replaced it.

My boyfriend and I left a bag with an expensive shirt in the apartment. I called on checkout day and was told to ring again the next day, once they'd spoken to the cleaner. I tried about nine times the following day and nobody answered. After I emailed, they eventually said the bag hadn't been found. I know that's a lie. It was a really disappointing experience and shameful treatment of customers. I don't recommend this place.

For £270 for seven nights, this was a great deal. The apartment was clean, with the basics we needed, a welcome bottle of wine and a lovely large terrace off both the bedroom and living area. Booking and check-in went smoothly, and they had an apartment ready even though I arrived early. The location is spot on, a couple of minutes from the beach, where there's a café serving a beachside breakfast for €6, and five minutes from the Yumbo. There's also a huge supermarket across the road. I haven't tried the rooftop pool and solarium yet, but they look great. If harmless noise bothers you, bear in mind this affordable apartment is by a main road. It worked great for me.

I spent a week here and found all the staff kind and helpful. The cleaning lady was especially lovely, and the apartment was very clean. We were on the top floor, where the street noise wasn't too bad, though I imagine summer could be different. The location is handy, with a supermarket two minutes away, and the pool is really good. The laundry powder machine took my money without working, but the woman at reception sorted it out straight away, which was very kind. The one downside is there's no air conditioning.
