Grupotel Picafort Beach

The staff in the bar and cantina worked extremely hard and always tried their best. The beach is beautiful, though there are a lot of waves. The hotel itself didn’t claim to have a gym, so its absence wasn’t a broken promise. Still, we would not recommend this place if you want proper rest or better quality food, and we won’t return. Food was poor quality and boring, and all-inclusive wasn’t good. We found a lot of ants when we arrived, the room was badly insulated, and the beds were horrible. No one in the family slept well during our week there. The pool was very small, the pool area wasn’t clean, and the sunbeds and parasols were poor quality. Beach towels could only be changed twice a week. The spa felt like entering a sauna, so we didn’t use it once. The safety box cost €10 per week.

The beach is only a one-minute walk away, and there’s a lovely ocean view. The bar has a wide choice of drinks, and the food was amazing, with lots of different types and varieties. Staff were super friendly, especially Tolo at the bar, who was wonderful. The spa and sauna were nice, though the hotel doesn’t have a gym. Beach chairs outside cost €20 per day.

The location right by a pristine beach gave us breathtaking views and peaceful moments. We also liked being close to charming historic towns for exploring. The hotel was spotless and beautifully maintained, and the staff were kind and attentive, always helping with real warmth and efficiency. The food was consistently fresh and delicious, with a fantastic range of vegetables and drinks. We’ve just returned from an eight-night stay after traveling all the way from Canada, and this was beyond anything we’ve experienced. We usually stay at luxurious five-star resorts in South America, but Grupotel Picafort Beach surpassed them all. It’s raised our bar for quality, service, and holiday enjoyment. We can’t recommend it highly enough for an unforgettable getaway. A solid five stars and then some!

The beach was clean and only five steps from the hotel, and the sea was warm and very clear. We also had a nice, not-too-busy pool. I loved the evening entertainment, especially the energetic couple doing magic tricks, a bit of circus, and dancing. I still remember them. My husband and I went in October 2022, though I forgot to write this review at the time. It was an amazing vacation. The hotel is stylish and modern, with a design I liked and perfect rooms. There was a big sofa, TVs in both the living room and bedroom, and a kitchen stocked with everything you could imagine. We also had a large balcony with a nice view. The food was so tasty, I ate seafood every day. The drinks and cocktails were very, very good too. We’re so happy we came here for a holiday!
