Rhin Garden

We had to leave early for our flight and couldn’t make breakfast, so the staff kindly packed us an amazing one to take along. They looked after us so well. My only regret is not staying longer, and I hope to return. Thank you, Rhin Garden. The whole hotel feels carefully designed around its guests. The decor is sleek and beautiful, and our room was stylish and high tech, with fantastic toiletries and robes provided. The pool area was beautiful too. Staff were friendly and spoke several languages.

I rarely leave a negative review, but I feel I need to tell people of color and families with children to avoid this place. I’d booked a room the night before for myself, my husband and daughter. When I entered the lobby, the receptionist, Natxo, looked me up and down, then looked at my daughter and said, “children are not allowed here.” There was no hello, welcome or offer to help, which is the sort of greeting I’d expect at any hotel, especially a four-star one. I said I had a reservation. Natxo became visibly nervous. People’s hands don’t shake when they’ve done nothing wrong. He and the director refused to honor the booking because of a “no-children” policy, which isn’t mentioned in the Google Maps overview. I can understand a business decision, but not discrimination and racism. When my partner, a white Spanish-speaking man, came in with the luggage and asked what was wrong, the way he was treated was completely different. Enforcing a policy is one thing. Showing no welcome, empathy or courtesy to women of color or children is another. If you want to feel judged and unwelcome, or support an unprofessional establishment, this is the place. I’m still waiting for my refund.

We stayed about a week and had a lovely time. The people running the hotel were welcoming, attentive and so helpful, and the service deserves a special mention. We also really liked the breakfast room and how breakfast was organized. The decor gives the hotel a charming feel, and the atmosphere is cozy. Our room was very comfortable, with sensor lights in the bathroom that made it feel modern and high tech. The outdoor pool is small, but the trees and plants around it made the area feel private and relaxing. Thank you, Rhin Garden ❤️

Right by the beach and well located, this is a fabulous hotel. The rooms are lovely, the food is nice, and the staff are great. Highly recommend it.
