The facilities were really clean and very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant. The pitches are a little small, though, and the noise was a real drawback. We heard kids shouting and screaming near the playground until after midnight Friday, then for most of Saturday. It seemed to be locals using the playground, since there weren’t kids staying on site. Maybe it’s quieter midweek, if you can put up with it until then.

It’s an easy walk into the wonderful city of Santiago de Compostela, and Carrefour is very close by. We stayed at the end of September 2025 and would happily return for the convenient location. The site is in a busy area, though, so there was road noise and nearby construction even though we parked higher up. When we arrived, our pitch was tiny, had building rubble on it, and faced the toilet block. The staff were friendly and willing to move us once we pointed out a pitch that suited us better. The toilets and showers were basic but clean, though some showers worked better than others. The washing-up area was fine, but too close to the chemical toilet area and right by the men’s toilets. Overall, it’s basic but functional.

The bushes and trees give the pitches some privacy, and the sanitary facilities were clean and had everything we needed. The location is nice, about a half-hour walk from Santiago’s historic center.

There’s a bus stop nearby and a good grocery shop just around the corner, which makes this a handy place to camp while visiting Santiago. The on-site restaurant is fine for snacks and simple meals.
