I’d planned to leave no more than my original note, but the owner said I hadn’t stayed there, so here’s what happened. I was there a month ago as part of another person’s holiday booking. For the high price, the place felt completely neglected: things didn’t work and there were very few supplies. The management also felt impersonal. You have to use your phone to open the door, for instance, and reaching the owner when something goes wrong is difficult. The washing machine takes coins, the water heater had no instructions, and other things didn’t work either. I can’t say whether other places like this are the same, but this one feels like a trap for taking money from people, pilgrims especially, I imagine.

The one inconvenience is the 400-metre climb to the centre for restaurants or a supermarket. Otherwise it’s a good, fully equipped apartment, with a washing machine and dryer. Sleeping setup: a 1.40 x 2.00 m double bed and a room with three 0.90 x 2.00 m beds.

Perfect, I’d recommend it. The place was spacious and had everything, including toiletries and first-aid supplies. There was heating, and both the washer and dryer worked properly. The bathroom had a bathtub.

A real find. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the location was good. The person who handed us the keys was fantastic.
