Room G was great, a penthouse with access to a public terrace and a lift that comes up right outside the door. It had loads of useful things, including a washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, a big fridge, plenty of pots, pans and cutlery, and a kitchen with touch operated halogen rings. There’s no kettle, so you’ll need to heat water in a pan on the jobs. Towels for the shower were provided. The location on O'Donnell worked well for sightseeing. A couple of minutes away there’s a Debenhams-like department store with a good supermarket downstairs, where we bought snacks and beer for the couple of days we were there. There’s also a newsagent next door for snacks or cigars. We had dinner at Patio San Eloy, meat and cheese tapas with bread and beer or sangria came to about 10 Euros each for two. Plenty of other little cafes are nearby, along with a Maccys and Burger King at the end of the street. Getting in was a hassle. They wouldn’t send us the entry code by email, so we had to phone someone when we arrived. Since we’re from the UK, that meant an extra charge that felt unnecessary.

The address was hard to find, though the place itself is in a nice downtown location. I’d avoid staying here in winter. The room gets little direct sun and isn’t well insulated, and the heater/air-conditioning didn’t work, so it actually felt warmer outside.

AWFUL. We stayed five days and had no internet for four of them, with nobody around to speak to. The shower had black mold. There was no hair dryer, soap, shampoo, kitchen towels, or service during our stay, and international calls weren’t available. Three girls arrived at the same time as us, and without them I don’t know how we would have got in. I can’t recommend this apartment. Avoid it, it was nothing like the description.

Really central and amazing. It’s equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and coffee machine.
