I’ve visited Seville a couple of times over the years, but I’m sorry to say it now feels like a dangerous city to stay in. Some locals seem resentful toward tourists and, according to my experience, may try to sabotage them. Future visitors should be aware that you could return after a busy day sightseeing to find the apartment lock sabotaged and yourself unable to get in. So far, it seems the owners can’t do anything about it. I’ll stay somewhere else next time.

I booked through Booking.com and stayed at this hotel in August, paying a €400 deposit. I got the deposit back through Booking.com today, February 18th. Next time, I’ll make sure to check what deposits are required. Thank you, Loft Sevilla Center, for an experience that didn’t meet our expectations.
