Casas de Sevilla - Apartamentos Vidrio 7

We had a great time staying here.

The owner was very kind. The location is beautiful, just a short walk from the centre and various services.

We had a great stay in this beautiful, comfortable apartment. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean and well organized. There's plenty of room for more people than the listing indicates, plus everything needed for cooking. A full-length mirror would have been handy, and the Wi-Fi and TV didn't work very well. Even so, we'd definitely recommend the place.

The worst stay I’ve ever had. At about 6:00 AM, someone with keys to the apartment tried to get in. I heard noises at the door, woke up, and reached it just as it was being opened. I managed to lock the person out. It seemed clear they were a burglar, especially as they had also entered other empty apartments in the building and dismantled some TVs. They appeared to know the owners well, since they had keys to the different doors. The owners were victims too, but their response to us was shameful. After we told them what had happened and asked them to contact us, they replied to a few messages, then stopped answering calls and messages. We eventually reached them through workers painting in the building. They said they’d arrive in five minutes. We waited four hours, and they never came. It was four hours of fear and confusion. When we called the police, we couldn’t speak Spanish, and they simply told us to go to the station and file a report. We reported everything to Booking.com and at least got our money back, but the experience ruined our vacation. Because I booked through Booking.com, it was made to look as if I’d never stayed there, so I couldn’t leave a negative review. What a shame. I really hope Booking or a similar platform permanently removes these owners’ ability to rent out the apartments again. They treated us terribly.
