Once you’re in, everything is great, especially if your terrace has the little pool. It’s so lovely you could easily live there. Getting in works through a code, and it isn’t difficult unless you get stuck. I can’t really comment on service because this is how this type of accommodation works. One request for the owners: please add a parasol or something by the pool. We’d really appreciate it.

It’s a large apartment in a great spot, with everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, drying rack, heating and cooling, and a terrace. Check-in by walking in and using a code for the doors was very convenient. There are two supermarkets close by for groceries, and the city centre is only a five-minute walk away, without late-night chaos. The downsides were dirty air conditioning units and Wi-Fi that occasionally went out.

We could walk everywhere from this very central location, which was perfect. But the experience was strange. We’d requested a pool room and were put on the second floor instead. Given the reviews about pool cleanliness, that may have been for the best. The room itself was cool, but the bathroom was very dirty. The showerhead was broken, and replacing it turned into a real ordeal. We reported it right away, but they ignored us until the day we left. There were cigarette butts in the bathroom, and the shower floor was covered in hair and mold. We also had no outlets for charging phones, and the bedside table wobbled. We booked through Booking.com and, naturally, left a low review. This morning the administrators sent me a threatening WhatsApp message because of it. What a shame.

The apartment is close to the centre and well insulated from street noise, but sounds carry from inside the stairwell. Within 24 hours of moving in, we found keys on a keyring marked with our apartment number in the stairwell. A neighbour could have used them to rob us, or even come in while we were home. We also found a pair of socks under a bed that weren’t ours, with no idea where they came from. The worst part was that nobody even apologised.
