We only stayed about 30 hours, and this was nothing like the weekend away we'd planned. Our trip was meant to be February 12th-14th, but we were kicked out on Valentine's Day. Even after all that, I asked for a late checkout and was told we could stay until 1pm, only for the host and cleaning staff to want us out by 11am. Neither the host nor Bookings.com offered compensation or credit. The host stopped communicating after I arrived in the country, even though I'd confirmed everything before leaving home and was told it was all set. I called repeatedly from different numbers and through different channels, but we were left outside in a foreign country for hours with no one to help. We didn't get into the property until 4am, after taking another Uber to a place where the app showed our key. That app opened another couple's apartment in Trina area, interrupting their stay. If they hadn't been surprised by us opening their door, we might not have gotten anywhere. Bookings.com sent someone to open our door, but the app still showed access to someone else's apartment, not the one we had booked. The host didn't send our apartment access until less than 24 hours before departure, which is why I'm asking for a full refund. The shower drained so slowly that after a shower longer than two minutes, we were standing in dirty water. There were only four towels for two guests, plus one dish rag and one floor towel. The location was awesome, but I spent $78 on Ubers between properties after 1am, and hours on the phone at 25 cents a minute added another $30-$45 to my bill.
