Green - Apartments Plaza Nueva II

The apartment has a lot going for it, but our stay was very bad because of the agency's dishonesty and the lies we had to deal with on vacation. It's a shame, since the place could be superb. Emilio, the manager, was polite and businesslike, but I came away feeling he wasn't trustworthy or professional. We arrived just after the fire another guest had mentioned, and nobody warned us. The kitchen couldn't be used, as the photos show, and the whole apartment smelled strongly of burning. Emilio and I spent an hour on the phone when we arrived, when we would've rather been doing something else. We agreed on an extra cleaning visit and a refund for one night because of the inconvenience. The cleaning was done but changed nothing given how much damage there was. More than six weeks later, after several conversations and promises and apologies, we still hadn't received the refund, and I came to believe the agreement wouldn't be honored. The living room air conditioning worked very poorly, even though it was 47°C in Seville. We asked about it and were promised action, but nothing was done. There was also a lot of rubbish left on the terrace, maybe an old mattress, which made the apartment seem neglected.
