Hostal Macarena

The place itself is beautiful, and both the rooms and toilets were very clean. The staff were lovely and always ready to help. There’s no kitchen or dining area, but with food this tasty in Spain, you probably wouldn’t want to cook anyway. Great stay for the price.

Everything was very clean, and the staff were really helpful. My room had just one window, looking into an enclosed inner space. The pillow was too hard for me, but they let me swap it for one that suited me better. The Alcázar is about a mile away.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the rooms were extremely noisy. In the inner-facing rooms you hear the generator, while the rooms facing out get the motorway noise. The old, unsealed windows let it all through. I could even hear an iron steaming next door and make out what the neighbors were saying.

The room was small, clean, and affordable, and the host was really nice. Check-in and checkout were both very easy.
