The rooftop pool was a lovely break from the heat, though a few more parasols would help people trying to avoid the sun. Breakfast was fresh and had everything we needed, and we found both the room and public spaces very clean. The location is perfect and all the staff were friendly. We checked in for five nights in room 307, which looked great except for a window facing a very small inner lightwell. We asked about changing rooms, and Andreea said she needed time to see what was possible because one night was fully booked. She came back with room 112, which had no view from its windows but larger light shafts and courtyards, so it felt airier. It was also very large, at the back of the building and very quiet. Room 307 had the larger bathroom, but we preferred the extra airiness in 112. Both rooms are good, and for a shorter stay we wouldn’t have bothered changing. There was a welcome note and treat in the room. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Seville. Muchas gracias.

The staff are what make Casa de Indias such a personal place to return to: professional, consistently attentive and genuinely friendly without hovering. I’ve stayed twice around New Year, and on my second visit I was pleasantly surprised by an upgrade. Opposite the Setas, the hotel is perfectly placed, and its distinctive atmosphere has stayed with me long after checking out. African art and striking paintings by David Noalia line the corridors, giving them a gallery feel, while the rooms show careful thought in their lighting, textures and layout. Bathrooms are spacious and well equipped, with the amenities you’d expect from a high-end hotel. The rooftop terrace is a lovely place to unwind above the city, especially in Seville’s soft winter light. It’s a refined, personal mix of location, design and service, and I look forward to coming back.

We were disappointed by how tiny our first-floor room overlooking the Setas was. It was barely larger than the bed, with only a small wardrobe alcove and no drawers at all. We had to leave much of our clothing in suitcases behind the door, and it may be the smallest hotel room I’ve stayed in for years. We booked four days as an anniversary treat during a ten-day Seville visit. There were no other rooms available when I asked, as it was a holiday weekend. I appreciate management replying, but I went straight to reception to raise the lack of space and storage. They knew about it, yet the only suggestion was extra hangers, which they did provide. There were good points too: a lovely building, helpful and friendly reception and breakfast staff, an excellent breakfast, everything very clean, and a fabulous rooftop terrace with excellent staff.

As a guide in Seville, I often suggest Hotel Casa de Indias by Intur to travelers who want a comfortable, charming base right in the city center. It’s easy to explore on foot from this spot, just steps from notable streets and monuments. The hotel combines modern conveniences with traditional Andalusian details, including warm colors and cozy touches that feel welcoming. The staff stand out to me as genuinely friendly and always ready with useful tips. Rooms are comfortable, well maintained and surprisingly quiet given how central the hotel is, making them a restful place after sightseeing. If possible, I suggest choosing a room with a view. The small balconies and windows can offer charming glimpses of the lively city streets, whether you’re here briefly or staying longer.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and we had fun playing music on the Marshall speaker. Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast had lots of choices, and when we had to leave early for a train, they kindly packed some for us. Las Setas is right beside the hotel, and we could reach everything easily on foot. One small hassle was that taxis can’t pull up directly, so we had to carry our luggage for about 2-3 minutes. It’s a minor inconvenience and seems common around this part of Seville. We had a very pleasant stay.
