Occidental Sevilla Viapol

There’s a tram right outside that goes into the centre, or you can walk there in about half an hour. The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean with a super comfortable bed. Breakfast was just okay. The air conditioning was the main problem: changing the setting didn’t help, and it stayed so hot overnight that we had to open a window. Staff said it was down to the change of seasons.

You can get towels for the nice pool from reception, which is handy. The room itself was clean and pleasant, and the staff were especially kind and professional. It’s also well placed for catching the tram to the main sights. Just be aware there’s no coffee machine in a standard room.

The room was clean and fairly comfortable, and the staff were kind and professional. But the noise made it almost impossible to sleep from 3AM to 6AM, with student clubs right next to the hotel. Even double glazing and earplugs couldn’t block it out. The room doors also let through everything happening in the hallway. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

San Bernardo metro, train, and bus station is only a two-minute walk away, and there’s a lovely little bar at the station for breakfast or a beer on the way back. The location is excellent. We paid around £100 a night, depending on the room, and our double was a good size and really clean.
