Catalonia Giralda Hotel

We had a wonderful stay in this central hotel, close to the tourist attractions. Breakfast was tasty and had a good range of food, and the staff were all very friendly. Kimberly at reception went out of her way to arrange a different room that suited us better. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We’d stay here again. The location is handy, with good bars and restaurants within a 10-minute walk and buses about 5 minutes away. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was lovely and big, and breakfast was excellent. All the staff were great, especially Cesar at reception. The room got too hot because the air conditioning was centrally controlled. We switched it off, opened a window and used earplugs to block the outside noise. There also wasn’t a toilet brush in our bathroom, which we expect to have. Those issues didn’t spoil the stay.

About a 15-minute walk from the cathedral area, this is a friendly, comfortable hotel. The room was bright and modern, and the bathroom was too, with good showers. It was clean, breakfast was excellent, and the gym was good. The pool is small but fine.

The pool area is nice, and I can imagine it being great to come back to in the summer heat. If you like a substantial breakfast, it’s very good value. The hotel itself was lovely and spotlessly clean, the staff were nice, and I slept well. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the centre, but the main route is busy with traffic and doesn’t make for a relaxed stroll. The old town is a maze, too. I got lost every time I tried to return from somewhere, and one wrong turn can take you completely off course.
