We only ended up here because Booking.com moved us after cancelling our original reservation. We had an event to attend, it was Saturday at 6 pm, and prices for somewhere else that day were high. We couldn’t afford to pay for a new place ourselves without warning, so we felt stuck spending the night. The apartment felt claustrophobic and unsafe. It’s a converted former commercial space right at street level, with just one casement window beside the door, so there was hardly any ventilation. The app-operated door couldn’t be locked except through the app. They also didn’t ask for our IDs or register us, which I understand is illegal. When we arrived it was unbearably hot. The air conditioning was set to 16 degrees Celsius and running, but didn’t cool the place at all. I can’t imagine how it is there in August. The bathroom was damp and moldy, right beside the bed. Someone upstairs happened to be showering when we got there, and water leaked down in loud drips. The smell was awful. The TV only had apps, no regular channels. We called Booking.com and the owner. A very rude woman answered, sounded like she’d been out drinking because of the noise, and hung up on us straight away. After arguing with them, she said she’d cancel for free. We started reading the reviews yesterday, and it seems this has been happening for a while, with the owner denying guests’ complaints in each review. What a terrible place.

The host’s response was the most disappointing part. After I left an honest review, he messaged me through Booking.com demanding an explanation for my rating and falsely claimed I’d left the apartment dirty. That wasn’t true, and his behavior felt unprofessional and inappropriate. The accommodation also fell far short of its photos and description. It was dirty when I arrived, and the hygiene was so poor I didn’t use the bathroom or the towels. The bathroom faucet was broken, too. The ground-floor apartment is at street level, with only a large window and no blinds, so there’s no privacy or real chance to rest. Outside noise came through constantly. I wouldn’t recommend it for the cleanliness, noise, and poor condition of the facilities, especially given the host’s attitude. Instead of taking responsibility, he tries to discredit guests who are telling the truth.

A good stay all around. The place was easy to manage, fairly quiet, and not far from the center. I’d swap the dishwasher for a washing machine, and it’d be nice to have coffee pods left for guests with a note that they’re sold at the nearby supermarket.

The bathroom ceiling had a big patch of mold, and the un-tiled walls seemed to hold moisture and looked pretty bad. The sofa was scorched, the carpet dirty, and the shelves dusty. At 410 PLN per night, we expected much better. These conditions weren’t acceptable for the price, and similar-budget apartments in Seville should be much better. The street entrance led straight into the apartment, with no hallway, and it looked like an old shop converted into a living space. There was no proper flooring, just an ugly industrial-looking surface. Instead of regular windows, there was a display window covered in matte film that didn’t open, apart from one small tilt-and-turn window. It was a busy, noisy street with buses passing. We couldn’t sleep with the window open, and it was still loud with it shut. Basic supplies were missing: no bathroom soap, just a little dish soap in the kitchen, no dishwasher tablets or paper towels, and only half a roll of toilet paper. For a short stay, buying whole packs of these things makes little sense, especially at this price.
