Sweet Inn - Recaredo

The roof terrace looked beautiful in the photos, but it was unusable, completely neglected and damaged. Dirty laundry bags stayed in the hallway and outside the apartment door throughout our visit, and the place was dirty. For this price, that’s outrageous. We’d booked because Booking.com showed a bedroom plus a separate living room with a sofa bed. When we arrived, there was just one room, with an uncovered sofa bed in the middle. The accommodation said that was the only room and told us to make the bed ourselves. That’s outrageous at this price too. Once, and never again.

The apartment had great amenities, including air conditioning, a full-size fridge freezer, and a dishwasher. They even offered a room clean halfway through our stay, which was great. It was just as pictured, and they accommodated our late check-in and helped with problems along the way. We were there for just over a week. Plaza de espana is about a 20-minute walk away, Lidl is 10 minutes on foot, and there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Paula gave us a super friendly welcome, and communication was very quick. We stayed for a week at Calle Recaredo 6. The apartment was nice, very clean, and so quiet we didn’t hear traffic. It had all the important things, and the old town is about a 10-minute walk away. The bathroom, especially the shower, is small, but it didn’t really bother us. A clear recommendation.

A lovely big room with comfortable beds and everything you need. I can definitely recommend it.
