Wish-Suite San Luis de Sevilla Apartment

We spent weeks discussing and arranging a group trip with them, then they cancelled at the last minute. Until something went wrong, communication had been easy and their replies were prompt. Once they had to take responsibility, though, they disappeared. Calls went unanswered, and getting a clear response was very difficult. Cancelling after everything had been discussed and organized was incredibly unprofessional. It was especially disappointing for a group trip that takes planning.

There aren’t any keys for the apartment. You enter with an access code they provide on the first day. When we left, a very kind gentleman was waiting to clean the place. Free parking is scarce nearby, though there’s a covered garage within walking distance. The apartment was beautiful, newly renovated, and very clean. We slept well on the new mattresses, and there were both firm and soft pillows to suit different preferences. The air conditioning was easy to adjust, and the kitchen had a good range of equipment.

There’s no reception, so everything is handled remotely, with no direct contact and little empathy. The apartment was very hard to find, in a run-down square that even the taxi couldn’t locate. Our towels arrived four hours after we did, and it was 35°C when we got there. It made for a very unpleasant stay. The apartment itself wasn’t bad: spacious, with a kitchenette and a clean bathroom with an excellent shower. I’d suggest finding somewhere more comfortable. Seville, though, is beautiful.

The bed and quiet made for a reliably restful stay, and the place was spotless. It’s in the old town, close to spectacular monuments and surrounded by history and incredible food. We’ll be back.
