A lovely, well-run hostel with clean rooms and decent food. The staff were friendly and helpful. It worked really well for a visit to the University.

Basic hostel and university accommodation, but perfectly serviceable and has what you need. Staff are helpful, and the beds are clean and reasonable, though basic. Parking may be difficult while lectures are on. It can get noisy depending on who else is staying, since the hard surfaces carry sound.
The essentials are covered: it was clean, staff were well mannered, and the wifi reached our room. Breakfast was simple but there was plenty of bread, butter, jam, tea, and coffee. There was no soap or towels in the rooms, though you can rent towels from reception for €2.
I stayed for five weeks and had a nice time overall. The balcony had a good view, and the service people were nice and tried hard to keep up with everyone. Still, over that stretch there was a nat infestation, which I guess is normal, the shower often clogged because of bad plumbing, the ceiling leaked, and waste smelled through the vents.
€24 a night for a shared room without towels or soap felt much too expensive for what was offered. It was hot, there were mosquitos, and the roommates were a random mix, including drunk people coming back after partying. There was no kitchen, and it was too far from the city centre. I wouldn't recommend it, especially in a city this big with much better options.
