For $440 a night, my room had no real view, just a window onto an internal balcony with a tiny patch of sky at the top. Breakfast was a complete joke. There was no buffet, and I waited 30 minutes for an over-fried omelet that came with bacon instead of salmon. This is the first five-star hotel I've stayed at where I had to go find food elsewhere. I've stayed in probably 200 hotels across 55 countries, so I have a point of comparison. The room was new and clean, the furniture was good, and the staff were super friendly. That's basically the only positive. For Four Seasons money, the hotel feels like Ibis, and breakfast like Holiday Inn. It's nowhere near Radisson or Hilton, despite costing more. I honestly think the Booking and Google Maps ratings might be fake or manipulated. You can get much better hotels with great views and genuinely good breakfast for half the price.

The rooms are impressive, the facilities are good, and the location is great, as you'd expect from many five-star hotels. What made this one stand out was the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was professional, efficient, friendly, and helpful, whatever their job title. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We spent 3 days here, and it was a joy.

The hotel's location is nice, but the rest of our stay was deeply disappointing. We booked two double rooms through Booking.com for our family of four and checked in on February 28, 2026. We were assigned rooms 202 and 203 and received a friendly welcome. My daughters were meant to stay in 202, but within 10 minutes of putting our suitcases down, they felt uneasy after finding three insects, each about one centimeter long, in the toilet and bathroom. I reported it to reception. The receptionist came to look. I'd killed one and put it in the trash with a tissue because my daughter was frightened; another was dead behind the door, and the third had escaped through the door. The receptionist kept insisting the insects weren't poisonous, which was upsetting. We'd expected a five-star hotel to be safe and clean, and three bugs appeared in five minutes. Was the only issue that they weren't poisonous? We weren't in the Amazon, a garden, or Bali, but in Seville, in the middle of Europe. I had to ask for a room change, as they didn't seem inclined to offer one, and nobody apologized. They changed rooms reluctantly, and we ended up in a lower-segment room. Luckily, our tours meant we weren't in the hotel long. We didn't even unpack in room 302 because ants and spiders kept appearing everywhere. I hadn't thought to photograph the first insects because the children were scared, but I took pictures of the ants and spiders to show the hotel staff if they wanted proof. Cleaning was half-hearted too. For example, the toilets weren't cleaned daily. I don't understand why I hadn't seen any earlier complaints about insects at this hotel. The breakfast was mediocre, and the staff were indifferent. Most buildings in that area are hotels. The price-performance ratio was extremely poor, and the stay wasn't worth what we paid. I absolutely don't recommend this hotel, and strongly advise against choosing it. It shouldn't be a five-star property.

The rooms are clean and the location is good, but the hotel falls short of what I'd expect from a five-star place. Anyone used to outstanding quality and service may be disappointed. The gym is tiny and smelled of cigarettes in the morning, there were no yoga mats, and the eggs I ordered at breakfast were almost cold. To me, details like that felt more like three-star service. That's just my opinion, but people expecting truly high-end quality may find it disappointing.

The gym was small but worked well, and the massages were relaxing, though I'd ask for a bit more pressure. The rooms had everything we needed, plus some lovely arrival gifts, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. There were Clarins products in the bathroom. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great, near the real alcazar, cathedral, and setas.
