We loved staying in Toledo. The apartment was charming, updated, and very clean, and check-in and checkout were easy. Communication with the host was excellent throughout. They'd also left extra snacks for us, which was thoughtful. There was a problem with the heat and internet in the downstairs background, and I fell in the middle of the night, as another reviewer had mentioned. Those issues were fairly minor for us. If you want an affordable, beautiful place in a central location, we'd highly recommend it.

These apartments are nicely refurbished and well looked after. Think of the setup as an Airbnb rather than a hotel.

The window curtain barely covered the glass, and there were no outlets by the bedside tables. The shower pressure was very weak, and the sofa looked a little worn. In the downstairs room, the light switch was outside the door.

The little window in the downstairs room had no curtain or shutter, and the heating there wasn’t working. The internet was down, too. Since you had to step outside the room to use the light switch, someone tripped on the step one night, fell, and hit their head on the wardrobe across from it.

The owner brought our keys right away and suggested several restaurants. She also pointed us to free parking, and we slept really well on the excellent mattresses and pillows. Everything was very clean, the location worked perfectly, and they left breakfast for us. We’ll be back!
