Playamar I

I’ve stayed here twice now, after three stays next door at the Tarik. I like this hotel, and both the location and cleanliness are very good. My only question is why the bar isn’t staffed. You can get a drink at the outside pool bar, but I’d like to be able to buy one inside. Apart from that, lovely.

The beach is directly opposite, making this a perfect place to unwind or head out and explore. A great hotel in a great location. I’ll return.

The rooms are clean and a nice size, and downstairs is good. The foyer smells yummy, too. The pool is a little small, and the sun has left it by late afternoon. But those mattresses, good grief, who picked them? Absolutely rock hard. I mean rock hard.

This is a very nice hotel close to the beach, with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice, although the choice was a little limited compared with other 4-star hotels. The property is celebrating 50 years, and noise travels between rooms. You’ll especially notice it when people come back to their rooms in the early hours.
