The owner helped me pick dishes and took the portion sizes into account, which was really thoughtful. We came on a local person's recommendation, hoping to find somewhere with local food rather than a touristy place, and it worked out very well. The Migas, salmorejo, caldreta de Cordero, and lemon mousse were all lovely, and the portions were generous. We left full and happy. I only ate at the restaurant, I didn't stay at the hotel.

Marta was so kind and attentive, and the homemade lunch and dinner were authentic and affordable. The hostel itself is charming and very clean, with quiet, roomy bedrooms and new furniture and beds. Everything has been renovated, and the room was comfortable and spacious. I'd love to come back and stay again.

For the restaurant only: the menu del dia is fairly priced, and the service was good. A better choice than the overpriced places on the Plaza de Mayor.

I've stayed here several times and never had a problem. The rooms are quiet and clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. There's free wi-fi, plus a restaurant serving local food from Extremadura. Parking around Trujillo can take a while, though.
