A huge cockroach was crawling up the wall in my room. Staying there was a nightmare, disgusting and disappointing.
The room was small, but comfortable enough to sleep in, and it had a little outdoor area. That was about the best of it. The bathroom was awful: dirty floor, pee and black hairs in the toilet, a bin full of used sanitary towels, cracked walls, and a dead insect. The shower doors were broken, so water went everywhere when I used it. I had to clean the toilet and floor with wipes myself. The bed and sheets were just as dirty, with black hairs on them. We turned the sheets and pillowcases over, and cleaned the floor because it was covered in dirt. We told the staff, but got no reply. They weren’t helpful about any of it. You could hear people in the other rooms talking and using hairdryers, too. Shame!!!
The apartment has plenty of space and is near the center, which was good for the price. But there were several problems. The bathroom and floor were dirty, and the sheets didn’t seem well cared for. Check-in details gave different times, and finding the key box was difficult. At night the air conditioning switched off, and light came in through the window. It was okay overall, though there’s plenty that needs improving.
Getting in was simple, since the access details arrived by email, and we could leave our bags there for a few hours before our 10:00 PM flight. The location was convenient, with good connections to Valencia’s center and the Science Museum. The studio was small but had what we needed, including a mini-fridge, air conditioning, microwave, and desk. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and there was a little terrace with a table and chairs.
